The Big Red Ball 2016

The Big Red Ball is our annual gala where our supporters and stars from the world of sport come together to raise funds for our life-changing work with children.

Hosted at the impressive Roundhouse in London, the 2016 event took place on Thursday 17th November and celebrated the impact Right To Play’s volunteer coaches have on the lives of the children in our programmes. The centrepiece of the event was the all-new, immersive Secret Course that left guests inspired by the determination and passion of three of our coaches.

The generosity of our guests enabled over £400,000 to be raised for our life-changing work, enough to provide weekly sport and play activities to over 13,000 children for a year.  T hank you to everyone involved. If you were unable to attend and would still like to contribute, please use our donation form.

Where the money raised will go

Since 2012, the Big Red Ball has raised over £2.6 million to fund our life-changing work with children.

Every week the lives of over one million children are being transformed as they play Right To Play games and learn to bring about positive change. We train thousands of local community leaders and teachers to become volunteer coaches. They coach children in specially designed games to equip them with the learning, health and social skills needed to help overcome the effects of poverty, disease and war.
