What you can expect on the night

John Inverdale will return to host our interactive sports quiz at The Grange hotel in central London. Thirty teams from the City's leading firms will compete alongside stars from the world of sport to see if they have what it takes to become champions, like last year's winners - a team from PwC.

Expect some new innovations alongside quiz classics, as well as the ever-popular Heads & Tails round. There may even be the odd video question from a global sporting superstar or two. Running alongside the main competition will be silent and live auctions with fabulous prizes to be won.

You can view highlights from the 2016 in the video at the top of this page.

Where the money raised will go

Every week the lives of over one million children are being transformed as they play Right To Play games and learn to bring about positive change. We train thousands of local community leaders and teachers to become volunteer coaches. They coach children in specially designed games to equip them with the learning, health and social skills needed to help overcome the effects of poverty, disease and war.

Last year's event

The inaugural Sports Quiz took place on Wednesday 18th May 2016 at The Grange, St. Pauls in London. Hosted by broadcaster, John Inverdale, there were classic quiz rounds alongside some surprises, including video questions from football superstar, Neymar Jr, and newly-crowned boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua. The event was attended by Right To Play's sporting Ambassadors Mike Tindall, Chemmy Alcott, Ade Adepitan and Sophie Radcliffe.

The generosity of our guests meant the evening raised £124,000 towards our life-changing work, enabling over 4,000 children to take part in our play-based activities for a year.
