Chelsea Football Club helps Right To Play raise over £605,000 at this year’s Big Red Ball

Right To Play's global partner Chelsea Football Club (Chelsea FC) has once again helped Right To Play raise hundreds of thousands of pounds through their generosity and support of Right To Play's annual Big Red Ball fundraising gala.

The Ball, which was held last Thursday, 20th November at the Roundhouse, London, was attended by over 500 guests, including athlete supporters. The Ball was raising money for Right To Play's work building peaceful communities.

Chelsea FC generously donated five auction prizes, including the chance to be Chelsea FC Chairman for the day and a Chelsea FC training session meet and greet. These items raised an incredible £24,061. This will give more than 4,500 children who have fled from violence a place on one of our programmes. Through sport and play they will be given the opportunity to recover from the traumas they have witnessed and to build important skills to help them build a brighter future, free from violence.

Chelsea FC has been a global partner of Right To Play since 2007. Together, we are transforming the lives of disadvantaged children in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia through sport and play.
