    Playing For Change

Play For Change is a unique and exciting schools fundraising initiative between Right To Play and Chelsea Football Club (Chelsea FC).

Using specially designed resources and activities, Play For Change teaches children about the work we do. The pack includes some of our most popular interactive games and play-based activities, allowing children across the UK to have a shared experience with children in our programmes.

By using the Play for Change resources, schools are also able to make learning geography, maths and literacy more fun and interactive. Activities teach children about the areas of the world we work in, how much it costs to run a programme and how to organise successful fundraising projects.

Children were encouraged to get involved with Right To Play's work further by coming up with a sports-themed activity to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable children we work with across the world. As a result they raised over £4,000  for Right To Play.

As a thank you for their fantastic efforts, those schools who raised money are heading to a Chelsea FC training day at Cobham this week where they will take part in a fun warm-up, technical and game related practices and a small-sided game to finish.
