    Right To Play announced as Official Charity Partner for Mark Cavendish’s Rise Above Sportive

    ​Right To Play has been chosen by Mark Cavendish as the official charity partner of the Rise Above Sportive. Rise Above is the official sportive of 25-time Tour de France stage winner and Right To Play Ambassador Mark Cavendish and will take place in Cheshire and North Wales on Sunday 9 August.

    Starting and finishing in Chester city centre, the ride will pass through the breath-taking Welsh landscape, take in forest lined roads, challenging climbs and culminate in the closed roads finale of Chester city.

    Riders will enjoy support along the route from specialist mechanics. There will be well stocked feed stations along the ride and all cyclists will receive an exclusive gift bag from the event partners.

    Right To Play is delighted to be the official charity partner for the sportive.  Please take part and with every mile you cycle you will be helping us to make lasting change for disadvantaged children across the world. Through sports and games, we help children build essential life skills and teach children how to stay healthy, stay safe and succeed in life.

    Mark Cavendish has been an Ambassador of Right To Play since 2009 and has had a huge impact in increasing awareness of Right To Play and raising vital funds to support our programmes and children.
