Right To Play Charity Challenge to Borneo

About the Climbing:

'After three hours gruelling climbing we got to the summit and tried to warm up whilst we waited for the sun to rise.

As it got lighter I could look down the other side of the mountain into Lowes Gully, a famous as possibly the last unexplored place in the world. To say it was a long steep drop would not fully describe the sensation of looking down 3,000 metres into the canyon. A truly awesome sight.'

About the Cycling:

'This was a whole world of pain and there was no denying it, the legs were in trouble. At the end four of us just fell into a river for about half an hour. It was one of the most exhausting things I have ever done!

Day two was much the same only longer and much slower! The trip ended with an 800m climb to the hotel up an incredibly steep hill.'

About the Rafting:

'This was excellent fun! Everyone got tipped in and the only disaster was when the 'dry bag'' on the boat got thrown around causing my stash of cigars and cigarettes to scatter at the bottom of the bag and become useless for their rightful function!'

'I would like to thank everyone who donated money online and attended the various fundraising events connected to this challenge. With your help I was able to raise, a total donation for the two charities of over £5,700 so thank you very much!'
