You don't necessarily need to be very sporty, but you do need to cover your entry fee and commit to raising funds for the crucial work we do in developing countries. For more on our work, see what we do.

For tips on how to fundraise, look at our Fundraising Tips page.

As an athlete raising funds for Right To Play you will be in great company, joining the ranks of our many Athlete Ambassadors who represent us in the UK. We will, of course, provide you with all the support you might need, from fundraising tips and ideas, to where to get training advice.

You can also run for us if you have your own race place, or join the Red Ball Club as a volunteer to cheer our runners around the course.

We recommend using online fundraising tools to make your sponsorship easier and faster. www.justgiving.com, for example, is a fantastic tool which:

  1. Makes it easy for sponsors to make their payment
  2. Simplifies the task of collecting sponsorship
  3. Makes it easy for Right To Play to claim Gift Aid, thereby boosting charitable funds at no extra cost to sponsors
