Step 3: Application Screening, Interview and Selection Process

Application Screening and Interview:
If your application is screened positively you will be contacted by Volunteer Services to schedule a first interivew. The majority of interviews are conducted by telephone. Volunteer Services will contact you within one week of the first interview with information regarding the outcome. If the outcome of the first interview is positive you will be recommended to the Field Operations team for a second interview.

The second interview is generally conducted over the phone and facilitated by a memeber of the Field Operatations team at Headquarters in Toronto, Canada and a member of Right To Play's staff in-field. Applicants will be given information regarding the outcome of their second interview within two weeks. If the candidate is successful in the second interview a placement offer will be made and the candidate will be asked to accept or decline within a specific time frame.

Mandatory Pre-Departure Training:
It is mandatory that all International Volunteers participate in Right To Play's pre-departure training. Details regarding the training are provided to candidates who have accept placement offers.
